Please be advised that the Personal Emergency Leave Form for casual or occasional employees who do not have
entitlement to paid sick leave and/or special leave has now been posted on the Board website. This is a Google Form that
is completed online and submitted directly to Human Resources. An accompanying Information Sheet has been posted
directly underneath the form on the website.

The Board has identified October 5, 2018 and May 17, 2019 as the days available for the purposes of applying for ‘Scheduled Unpaid Leave Plan’ Days (SULP). Employees approved for SULP days shall not be replaced.
This plan is available to all permanent employees from the following groups:
· Educational Assistants
· School Support Counsellors
· Office Managers
· Early Childhood Educators
· CUPE 1321 members
· CUPE 1247 members
Employees interested in these unpaid leave days are required to apply no later than September 30, using the Application for Special Leave form. Approval of SULP days are subject to system and operational needs of the board and school. Approved leave days may not be cancelled or changed by the school board or the employee. Half day leaves may be approved.
